The quick picks compare only price and currency conversion markup. Credit cards are not named the best and are not ranked by interest rate.
* The currency conversion markup has limits (a fair-use fee, a weekend surcharge or conflicting sources), taken from the product details:
- Revolut Plus: Currency exchange on weekdays with no extra charge up to €3,000/month, above that a 0.5% fair usage fee; at weekends 0.5%. 20% discount on Revolut's international transfer prices. Personal Plus card.
- bunq Core: 1 Mastercard card is included. According to bunq's price list (15.10.2026), the price of a card payment in a currency other than euro is the Mastercard rate + a 0.5% exchange rate fluctuation protection fee on all tiers. The Plans page, on the other hand, says that ZeroFX is unlimited on the Core, Pro and Elite tiers; the sources conflict, so the figure follows the price list.
- bunq Pro: 3 cards are included, a metal card is optional for a one-off fee. Share trading fee 0.79%.
- bunq Elite: Four 2 GB eSIM packages per year, 3 cards, share trading fee 0.49%, priority support.

Cap on consumer credit interest
The interest rate cap is 17.50% for the period 1 July 2026-31 December 2026. The interest on consumer credit may not be agreed higher than the reference rate under section 12 of the Interest Act plus 15 percentage points, and the interest may in no case exceed 20 percent. The reference rate for 1.7.-31.12.2026 is 2.5 percent, so the interest rate cap during that period is 17.5 percent. If the lender breaks the interest rate cap, the consumer does not have to pay any interest or other credit costs at all.

The effective annual interest rate (APR) and why the example is shown
The effective annual interest rate (APR) expresses the total cost of the credit as a yearly rate, and it is calculated with an example chosen by the provider. The amount of credit in the example, the loan period and whether the card's monthly fee is included all affect the figure, so the same row always carries the provider's own example word for word. The banks' effective annual interest rate (APR) examples are not comparable with each other: the credit amount and the loan period vary, and in some examples the card's monthly fee is included in the calculation and in others it is not. Compare the figures only if the assumptions of the example are the same. Pankkitutka does not rank credit cards by effective annual interest rate (APR).

Method
On 16.10.2026 we collected the prices, credit terms and benefits of the paid bank account tiers and the premium, gold and platinum cards sold in Finland from the providers' own product pages, price lists, card terms and standard European consumer credit information (SECCI). Figures from comparison sites or news articles were not used. The effective annual interest rate (APR) and its example calculation are quoted word for word as published by the provider, because the assumptions of the example (credit amount, loan period, monthly and billing fees) have a decisive effect on the figure; for that reason the APRs of different banks cannot be compared directly without the examples. The monthly fee is the list price without membership, customer-tier or package discounts; member and package prices are given separately. The annual fee is shown only if the provider publishes an annual price. In the Säästöpankki and POP Bank groups prices are set by each bank, so the example banks are Säästöpankki Optia and Suomen Osuuspankki. The travel insurance descriptions are summaries of the product pages and insurance terms; the conditions and limitations of a claim are always in the insurance terms. If a figure is not published, the value is empty (null) and the reason is given. Terms change often, so check the current information with the provider before applying.

What is the cap on consumer credit interest?
In October 2026 The interest on consumer credit may not be agreed higher than the reference rate under section 12 of the Interest Act plus 15 percentage points, and the interest may in no case exceed 20 percent. The reference rate for 1.7.-31.12.2026 is 2.5 percent, so the interest rate cap during that period is 17.5 percent. If the lender breaks the interest rate cap, the consumer does not have to pay any interest or other credit costs at all. Source: Finlex: kuluttajansuojalaki 38/1978, 7 luku 17 a §; Suomen Pankki: korkolain mukainen viitekorko 1.7.-31.12.2026 (tiedote 30.6.2026).
Can the effective annual interest rates (APR) of credit cards be compared with each other?
In October 2026 The banks' effective annual interest rate (APR) examples are not comparable with each other: the credit amount and the loan period vary, and in some examples the card's monthly fee is included in the calculation and in others it is not. Compare the figures only if the assumptions of the example are the same. Pankkitutka does not rank credit cards by effective annual interest rate (APR).
