Quick picks measure one thing at a time and are not investment advice. In a tie, all are listed. Calculator: one €1,000 trade a month on the Helsinki exchange, ordinary price (not the new-customer price), trades and the account's monthly fees over a year. Brokerage fee for one Helsinki exchange trade of €10,000, ordinary price, excluding the account's monthly fees. Brokerage fee for one Helsinki exchange trade of €100 in a book-entry account, ordinary price. The percentage cap applies to small trades. Only funds whose ongoing charges are published are compared. Funds that publish only a management fee (for example Nordea and OP) are in a separate list and are not part of the ranking. In a tie, all are listed.
Calculate your trading costs
Enter the trade size, number of trades, market and account type to see the brokerage fees and account fees per year by provider. The calculator compares costs and does not give investment advice. Providers for which the cost cannot be calculated appear in the "Not calculated" list with the reasons.
- OPcheapestSäästäjä package€60.00/year€5.00 per trade (brokerage fee €5.00), account fees €0.00/year. Price class: Helsinki. The 1% fee cap does not apply in the equity savings account. The calculator picks the one of the two packages with the lower annual cost. The new customer's 30-day fee exemption is not counted.
- Nordnet€84.00/year€7.00 per trade (brokerage fee €7.00), account fees €0.00/year. Price class: level 3 (1-10 trades a month). The level is set by the number of trades in the previous month. Level 4 (no trades, 0.20%, min. €9) is not used because the calculator assumes at least one trade a month. Level 1 is not in the data for months with more than 50 trades, so they are calculated at level 2. The equity savings account and the book-entry account have the same tiered price list.
- Nordea€96.00/year€8.00 per trade (brokerage fee €8.00), account fees €0.00/year. Price class: base level. Nordic trades under €800 cost 1%, which matches the point where the 1% cap and the €8 minimum cross. The limits of levels 2-4 are not in the data (level 1 is under €20 in fees in a quarter, level 4 over €500), so the calculator uses the base level. The €2.45/month custody fee is charged only if no trade with a brokerage fee was made in the previous quarter. Free for under 28-year-olds.
- Danske Bank€120.00/year€8.00 per trade (brokerage fee €8.00), account fees €24.00/year. Price class: level 1 (€0-25,000/month). The level is set by the month's trading volume (trade size x trades a month). The price list uses the larger volume of the two previous months. The €2/month administration fee is not charged if Danske Säännöllinen Säästäminen is attached to the agreement. It is not taken into account in the calculation.
- Ålandsbanken€174.00/year€10.50 per trade (brokerage fee €10.50), account fees €48.00/year. Price class: digital services. 0.25% + €8 fixed addition to every trade.

The calculator compares costs and does not give investment advice. Annual cost = trades over 12 months + the account's monthly fees (+ currency conversion on US trades). The prices are the provider's ordinary price class according to the number of trades or the monthly volume; classes whose limit depends on the previous quarter's fees or whose limits are not in the data have been left out and are marked in the result. The percentage cap of Nordea and OP on small trades is modelled from the providers' price notes. The new-customer price is calculated only for its period of validity. Prices in dollars (e.g. Lightyear) are converted to euros only if you enter the dollar rate; extra charges in the price list (e.g. exchange and authority fees) are not included. In an equity savings account the withholding tax on foreign dividends cannot be credited, and it is worth checking with the provider whether US shares are eligible for an equity savings account.

18 providers. The price is a percentage of the trade value and a minimum fee; US prices are in the provider's currency (USD marked). The main value is the ordinary price and the new-customer price is on its own line. An empty field gives the reason. The Helsinki order is by the ordinary minimum fee.
What do the yellow labels mean?
The labels are derived from the provider's own data fields and notes, not from assessments. The table gives the rule and says which providers have the label.
| Label | Rule in the data | Providers |
|---|---|---|
| new-customer price | The notes on trading prices say that the price is a new-customer price class ("a new customer trades" or "that a new customer gets"). | Nordnet, OP |
| only Helsinki shares in the equity savings account | The notes on the equity savings account say that you can only trade shares listed on Nasdaq Helsinki and First North Finland. | OP |
| no Helsinki exchange | The Helsinki minimum and percentage are empty, and the notes on the Nordic markets say that the Helsinki exchange is not offered. | Lightyear, Interactive Brokers |
| report your trades to the tax authority yourself | The field finnishTaxReporting is false: the provider does not report sales to the Tax Administration. | Lightyear, Trading 212, Interactive Brokers, DEGIRO, eToro, Revolut (stocks) |
| prices not available | Opening the price list failed (the notes say that the price list could not be opened) and all price fields are empty. | Saxo |
| funds only | The provider is a fund company (type fund-company) and has no share trading prices. | Seligson & Co |
| execution via Nordnet | The notes on trading say that share trading goes through Nordnet. | POP Bank |

Method
On 16 October 2026 we collected the prices of banks, brokers, fund companies and foreign investment apps operating in Finland from their own price lists (price list PDFs, price pages, cost statements and terms). We did not use figures from comparison sites, news or memory. For trading prices, the main value is the ordinary price paid by a customer who trades rarely (for example Nordnet level 3 and OP's book-entry account level 1). A new customer's time-limited price is shown separately: Nordnet level 1 for the first two months and OP level 3 for the first quarter. In the Säästöpankki and POP Bank groups, prices are set by each bank, so the example banks are Avain Säästöpankki and POP Bank Suomen Osuuspankki. Fund costs are ongoing charges or management fees, depending on what the fund company publishes, and which one applies is marked. The prices of foreign brokers come from the price lists of their EU company; minimums in USD are marked with the currency. If the information was not found in the provider's own sources, the value is empty (null) and the reason is given. Prices change, so check the current price with the provider before deciding.
Not investment advice. Investing involves risk. Pankkitutka compares costs and does not recommend individual investments or service providers. The value of investments can rise and fall, and you can lose the money you invest.
Data checked 16 October 2026. Always check the current prices with the provider.
