What counts towards the wealth threshold?

Nordea Premium

According to the page, you are a Premium customer "when you or your family have savings and investments of at least €100,000". The threshold is therefore calculated for the family as a whole, and a spouse or minor children can be added to the same family unit.

No income threshold is published. Alternative condition: "a mortgage or other secured loan of at least €400,000 and investments in Nordea funds or a unit-linked insurance". The package price of the service package requires you to direct your regular income to a Nordea account.

Loan route: The client relationship can also be obtained with a loan, not only with assets.

The lower tier of Nordea's benefit programme is Etuasiakas (preferred customer): "You become an Etuasiakas when you have a mortgage with Nordea or savings and investments of over €30,000." (benefit programme page). The customer tier is updated in regular reviews.

Nordea Private Banking

"Private Banking is intended for individuals and households with over €500,000 of investable assets." The threshold applies to private individuals, families, entrepreneurs and foundations. The pages give two wordings of how it is calculated: according to the FAQ, the requirement includes "assets held in the bank, for example accounts, funds, equity investments or unit-linked insurance", and according to the contact form, "All assets held in banks count towards investable assets".

No income threshold is published.

The two pages describe the calculation differently (assets in the bank vs. all assets held in banks), so it is worth checking with Nordea whether assets in other banks are counted.

Nordea Family Office

"The service is intended for customers whose investable assets exceed €10 million."

No income threshold is published.

Discretionary management

Discretionary management through discretionary portfolios is offered to Private Banking customers, but no separate minimum amount is published (not published).
